Nicole Newman

Nicole Newman received her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 2015 and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2018. Nicole graduated in the top 15% of her class with Cum Laude honors. While at South Texas, Nicole was consistently named to the Dean’s Honor List, received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship each year, and became a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.

Nicole gained valuable legal experience as a judicial intern for United States District Judge David Hittner in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in the Spring of 2017. The following summer, Nicole joined Christian, Smith & Jewell as a law clerk and was named an associate upon receiving her JD in 2018. Nicole's practice will focus primarily on complex business disputes, commercial litigation, and real estate transactions.

Nicole is a native Houstonian and an avid Houston sports and Aggie Football fan. She grew up as a competitive gymnast and played the violin in orchestra. She now spends her free time travelling, exploring new restaurants, yoga, and shooting sporting clays. Nicole is also a proficient Mandarin Chinese speaker.
